medical_main Image Registration

Image registration aims at obtaining the best possible spatial correspondence between misaligned datasets in order to correct distortions.

The problem can be regarded as finding the transformation, generally defined by a set of parameters, that best maps the floating image onto the target image.

    Modern MRI scanners can generate high quality diagnostic images with good resolution, but may still require artifacts correction.

    We have developed the E2D-HUM method to suppress such artifacts.
